Quartz is a very strong material by nature, almost eight times stronger than natural marble. Quartz consists of 94% natural quartz, which is the second strongest rock in the earth’s crust after diamond, the remaining 6% are various binding substances that give quartz high bending strength, color and pattern.

Unlike natural marble, quartz is also extremely stain-resistant. If wine, oil, vinegar or other substances used in the kitchen get on natural marble, it is very difficult or even impossible to remove the stain. Quartz does not absorb liquids and is therefore a maintenance-free material that does not need to be protected with various means.
