Franke KBG 110-50, Fragranite®, Polar White

FRANKE was founded in 1911 in Switzerland by Hermann Franke. In the early years, simple sheet steel products (rainwater pipes, etc.) were manufactured, but even before World War II, a stainless steel welded sink was introduced into series production. In 1939, after his father’s death, his son Walter took over the company. Immediately after the war, Franke began exporting its products to other European countries. In 1950, the company made its first foreign investment by establishing a subsidiary in Germany, which has since become Europe’s largest sink manufacturer. FRANKE’s geographical reach has steadily expanded. The capture of the international market became particularly active after Walter Franke’s death in 1975, when his friend Willy Pieper took over the company, who still manages the group today. FRANKE currently has 85 companies in Europe, South and North America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
